In spite of the other 2006 rating, I took a chance on this park because it had wireless. Had no problems, easy to get in and out. Paid $132 for the week + $16 electricity. Very clean restrooms. Has a pool, but didn't check it out. Very close to downtown Bandera, but off the highway (no noise). Has several spaces with view of the Medina River. Office is sparse for supplies and food, but town is easy walk. I believe this used to be a Jellystone park some years back. I would go back again.
This is a small park about 25 miles north of Kanab, UT. 14 pull-thrus/6 backins. It is an excellent base to go to Zion/Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef Parks. Very friendly owners and is well kept. Lots of grass between sites. No road noise. Plenty of room to walk dogs. Not having big trees wasn't a problem as nights were very cool and breezes were nice. I think the elevation is 5000' or so. Being in a "Canyon" leaves not much to view except for nearby hills--not a problem.
Spent 4 nights here recently, very nice park. Lots of shade, quiet, friendly people, stayed after closing when I said I was getting close to being there. Good value, good location to visit places on northeast to northwest parts of San Antonio. Easy to get to New Braunfels and Boerne.
As I type this, I am leaving this campground in the morning after 3 nights. I found it to be a very nice place to explore the Sedona area from, and it IS in town. 3 couples/rigs in our party, all want to stay longer, but park is booked up. Some of the sites are tight to get in, but the park personnel helped us back our rigs in. While a little hard to get in, once spotted, there is plenty of side room and grass. Totally shaded sites, most have large concrete pads for tables and whatever. WiFi worked good, sometimes slow. I would not hesitate to recommend this campground to our friends, and plan to return for a longer stay. I do not understand some of the negative posts about Rancho Sedona RV Park, so decided to put this on before I finished my vacation.
